The Women’s Build is all about opening doors, literally and figuratively, for women-led households across Niagara Area!
What We’re Building This Year
This year, we’re focusing on accessibility and safety — building the essential improvements that allow individuals and Habitat families to live independently and remain rooted in the communities they love.
Through these builds, we’re not only providing safe housing. We’re empowering women by bringing them together to build, lead, and transform lives. Together, women build communities.

Everyone deserves a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity partners with local families, volunteers and organizations to build and preserve homes in Springfield.
What to Expect
No experience? No problem. Women Build activities are open to everyone, and we will teach you everything you need to know on-site. Whether you are joining with friends or flying solo, you will be welcomed into a powerful, supportive crew.

Smoke alarm installation + 28-ft ramp build for a senior in need.
Event #2
April 13–18 | 10am–3pm
Smoke alarm installation + 40-ft ramp and porch build for a senior couple in need.
Event #3
May 18 & 19 | 10am–3pm
Smoke alarm installation + front stair build.
